Η Diana Shipping Inc. εισηγμένη στο ΝΥΣΕ μια παγκόσμια ναυτιλιακή εταιρεία, συμφερόντων Συμεών Παληού, με την Σεμίραμις Παληού να κρατά γερά το τιμόνι της ναυτιλιακής,   που ειδικεύεται στην ιδιοκτησία και ναύλωση bareboat πλοίων ξηρού χύδην φορτίου, ανακοίνωσε σήμερα ότι υπέγραψε, μέσω μιας ξεχωριστής θυγατρικής που ανήκει εξ ολοκλήρου, ένα Μνημόνιο Συμφωνίας για την πώληση σε μη συνδεδεμένο τρίτο μέρος, το πλοίο κατασκευής 2007 «Boston», με παράδοση στον αγοραστή το αργότερο έως τις 20 Δεκεμβρίου 2023, για καθαρή τιμή πώλησης περίπου 18 εκατομμυρίων δολαρίων ΗΠΑ.

Diana Shipping Inc. (NYSE: DSX), (the “Company”), a global shipping company specializing in the ownership and bareboat charter-in of dry bulk vessels, today announced that it has signed, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, a Memorandum of Agreement to sell to an unaffiliated third party, the 2007-built vessel “Boston”, with delivery to the buyer latest by December 20, 2023, for a net sale price of approximately US$18 million.

Upon completion of the aforementioned sale, Diana Shipping Inc.’s fleet will consist of 40 dry bulk vessels (4 Newcastlemax, 9 Capesize, 5 Post-Panamax, 6 Kamsarmax, 7 Panamax and 9 Ultramax). As of today, the combined carrying capacity of the Company’s fleet, including the m/v Boston, is approximately 4.7 million dwt with a weighted average age of 10.51 years.
